This policy describes how AgileLogix ("We" "Us") collects, uses, shares, and secures information on our owned and operated websites, mobile applications, and other properties, as well as the services we use to communicate with consumers and to facilitate communications between consumers and the businesses who advertise with us. Although you should read through the entire policy for complete information, the following provides a summary of some of the most important aspects of our privacy practices:

  • We use your personally identifiable information to provide you with products, services, and information, including more relevant search results and advertising, and to make sharing with others quicker and easier while enabling you to maintain control of that sharing.
  • We may share your personally-identifiable information with third parties in some situations, such as if you decide to communicate with a company that advertises through our application.
  • We are committed to working with you to reach the right balance of what information we collect, use, and share, by providing you with ways to control information that we collect, through our opt-out mechanisms.
  • We take reasonable measures to secure your sensitive personally-identifiable information, but we cannot promise, and you should not expect, that your sensitive personally-identifiable information will remain secure in all circumstances.

Q: Who is AgileLogix?

AgileLogix is a well-known software development company established in 2015 that offers web, mobile, Facebook application development services. The company considers a non-conventional and revolutionary approach to building solutions in web and mobile platforms using the latest development tools.

What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our blog, website, or app?

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, or other details to help you with your experience.

When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you subscribe to a newsletter, fill out a form, Open a Support Ticket, or enter information on our site.

How do we use your information?

For information other than Google user data covered in the Google Maps Connect section below, our purpose in collecting information about you is to provide you with services, products, information, and advertisements that match your interests and preferences. For example, we may use this information to fulfill your order, respond to your inquiries, administer your account, send marketing, assess your needs and interests to better tailor offers and/or advertising, improve our website and marketing, conduct research, display content based upon your interests, allow you to search information on our site, and/or list you in our search and directory services.

How do we protect your information?

Your personal information is contained behind secured cloud networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. Also, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We also encrypt sensitive data such as geo-location information in transmission. For other types of information, we use reasonable measures to help prevent the information from becoming disclosed to individuals who are not described in this policy.

Do we use 'cookies'?

"Cookies" are small data files placed on your computer by the websites you visit and the emails you read and can be used to help recognize you when you return to a website, or when you visit other sites. We, or third-party service providers, may use cookies to, among other things, measure activity, personalize your experience, remember your viewing preferences, or track your status or progress when accessing our site. For some of these purposes, our cookies may be tied to personally identifiable information.

Third-party disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information, except for the service-related exchanges described in the Google Maps Connect section below.

Third-party links

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We, therefore, have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Google Maps Connect and Google user data

Google Maps Connect (also called AgileLogix Connect) is our optional service for setting up Google Maps API keys from your WordPress plugin. This section describes how the connection service at connect.agilelogix.com handles Google user data and takes precedence over general statements elsewhere in this policy about advertising, marketing, or sharing. Google user data obtained through this service is used only to provide the connection and setup features described below, not for advertising, marketing profiles, or sale.

Google authorization and information we access

When you choose to connect, you authorize access on Google's own authorization page. The service requests the Google Cloud permission https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform. This is a broad permission for Google Cloud resources; the service uses it for the setup operations described here, subject to your existing Google Cloud permissions. We do not receive your Google password. The service does not request Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or separate profile and email permissions.

  • Google Cloud information: identifiers and names of accessible projects, organizations, folders, and billing accounts; billing status and project associations; relevant permission checks; API configuration, quota settings, and setup operation results.
  • Website and connection information: your website and administration origins, approved website restrictions, detected and confirmed server IP addresses, setup selections, connection identifiers, verification hashes, and setup status or error messages.
  • Credentials: a temporary Google OAuth access token and the browser and server API keys generated during setup. The service requests online access and does not request or store a refresh token for continued background access.

How setup uses this information

The service lets you select or create a Google Cloud project, optionally choose an accessible organization or folder, review billing, and explicitly approve linking a selected billing account when needed. It enables the mapping APIs used by the setup (Maps JavaScript, Places API (Legacy), Geocoding, and Directions API (Legacy)), plus the API Keys API for provisioning. It creates separate browser and server keys with website, server IP, and API restrictions. If you choose and confirm optional usage limits, it reads relevant quotas and applies the confirmed changes. These quota changes affect the selected project, not just your website.

The generated keys and related configuration are returned to your WordPress site for verification and saving in the plugin. Google handles billing and payment information; this service does not collect payment card details or create billing accounts. Google Maps usage is billed by Google to the account associated with your project.

Storage, security, and retention

Temporary connection records are encrypted and stored outside the service's public web directory. Connections use HTTPS, and retrieval of generated keys requires a verification secret held by the initiating WordPress site. A secure session cookie maintains the setup session and helps protect authorization requests. The service also keeps temporary request counts associated with a hashed server IP address to limit abuse.

A setup connection expires after 30 minutes. The service removes its stored Google access token when key creation finishes successfully and removes its stored key material when WordPress acknowledges receipt. If setup is abandoned or acknowledgment does not arrive, credentials may remain in the encrypted record pending cleanup. Connection and rate-limit files become eligible for deletion once they have not been updated for more than one hour; deletion occurs when the periodic cleanup process runs. Expiration alone does not delete a file.

Keys saved in your WordPress installation and resources created in your Google Cloud project remain under your control until you remove or change them. Deleting the service's temporary records does not delete those resources or the keys saved in WordPress.

Sharing and use of Google data

The connection service exchanges the information needed for setup with Google and sends the generated keys and related configuration to the WordPress site that initiated the connection. We do not sell Google user data or share it with advertising platforms or data brokers. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices, revocation, and deletion

You can use manual API-key entry instead of Google Maps Connect. You can withdraw authorization through your Google Account's third-party connections settings. Removing authorization does not undo project creation, billing associations, enabled APIs, quota changes, or API keys already created. Manage or delete those resources in Google Cloud Console, and remove saved keys separately from your WordPress plugin if you no longer want to use them.
